I have been using and teaching a wide variety of technologies for 20+ years, I joined the U.S. Navy right after high school and became a computer electrician for the F/A-18 fighter jet platform. After 10 years of service I started my first business in the e-commerce space and was able to scale it very quickly by leveraging technology. I was able to quickly sell that business and start another in a completely different industry (Landscaping) and again was able to grow and scale it fairly easily by using as much technology as possible to make my life easier and make it very appealing to the person that would eventually purchase it. In 2019 I decided to take a break from business ownership and attend a computer programming academy in Seattle where I was able to learn and attain certifications in the Python & JavaScript languages. Learning how to code combined with my prior knowledge of computers and technology has given me the ability to do so much more than I was able to before. It was like looking behind the curtain, knowing how all these technologies that I had been taking for granted for years are actually built has taken away so much of the intimidation associated with learning a new technology.
I love to work one on one with businesses and individuals and help them take advantage of technology to make them more successful in all aspects of what they do. Technology is in just about everything we do and its not going to go away. I help take the fear and intimidation out of using computers, smartphones, and many of the applications for them.
