With over forty years training and experience in the sewing industry, I am very qualified to help others learn this skill. I am highly experienced in fitting, altering, and repairing clothing as well as almost anything else that takes threads to hold it together. During my previous job in Seattle, I altered/repaired mostly outer wear clothing, as well as repaired outdoor gear such as tents, sleeping bags, back packs, all of which encompass webbing, buckles, patches, zippers, grommets, snaps, bar tacks, etc. Over the years, as the opportunities presented, I was able to teach others various techniques of the industry. The sewing industry is a field in which I have plenty of experience and it’s something that I thoroughly enjoy as a pass-time.
