I served 5 years in the US Marines, then decided that a different path would suit me better. I began teaching Environmental Education and Survival Skills and am pursuing that path still. I have been mentored at Wilderness Awareness School in the natural sciences such as Wildlife Tracking, Natural Hazards, Edible/Medicinal Plants (and general botany) basic Ecology, Native Cultures, Survival Skills, Leadership, Community Building, and a large range of Personal Development work. I have spent 2 years in this environment and am eager to teach what I know.
