I have extensive experience with early readers and writers as a kindergarten and first grade teacher. Working with young students to develop phonics skills, phonemic awareness, and early math literacy are a passion of mine. Learning through games and hands on experience are particularly beneficial for young learners.
I have spent 12 years teaching intermediate students math, science, social studies, reading comprehension, and writing skills. I enjoy seeing older students grasp new concepts and build confidence as they become more independent.
