I am a Bastyr University educated Naturopathic Physician with experience in teaching and developing curriculum. When my children were young I stepped away from my Adjunct Faculty Position at the Bastyr Center for Natural Health so that I could be present for my family. I live on a small farm in SW Washington with my husband, three children and a small herd of cattle. I am currently working on learning Spanish and look forward to putting it to use on some travels in the not-so-distant future.
Now that that my kids are older, I am once again enjoying spending time and energy in an education and learning environment. I have a talent for explaining and communicating complex information in a straightforward manner. I have a passion for students and life-long learning, fostering students knowledge, confidence and skills. I look forward to helping you master the learning goals!
In the course of my doctorate studies I particularly enjoyed (and excelled in) anatomy and physiology, as well as the entire science-based curriculum. After graduation I was further immersed in the application of my scientific learning through a two year medical residency. For an additional six years I served as an Adjunct Clinical Professor, demonstrating and coaching students in the proper assessment and treatment of patients.
I look forward to discussing your educational goals and exploring how I might help you reach them. My schedule is flexible and I have lesson times available throughout the day.
