I am a certified bilingual tutor with experience supporting elementary and middle school students in math. I have worked with students in both school and online tutoring settings, including one-on-one and small-group instruction. Through Tutors Impacting Public Schools (TIPS), I supported students at Dearborn Park International Elementary School and Mercer International Middle School. My experience includes helping students strengthen foundational math skills, problem-solving, homework strategies, and confidence in mathematics.

I currently provide individualized online math tutoring for students in grades 1–8. I enjoy breaking difficult concepts into small, simple steps and adjusting my explanations based on how each student learns. I use examples, visuals, guided practice, and questions to help students understand why a strategy works rather than simply memorizing steps. I am especially comfortable supporting students with elementary math, Common Core concepts, fractions, multiplication and division, place value, addition and subtraction with regrouping, prealgebra, and foundational algebra skills. I am also bilingual in English and Spanish and can provide additional language support when helpful.

I am currently completing my Associate degree in Business Administration at Bellevue College. I also hold professional tutoring certifications through the National Tutoring Association, including Basic Level Professional Tutor and Professional Math Tutor. My goal is to create a patient and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and developing the confidence to solve problems independently.
