Hello, I'm Anvitha!
I have always loved learning, and one of the best parts was my teachers, who made the lessons both engaging and fun! My favorite teachers taught the class by breaking the concepts down in simple steps, lead into a guided example, and then encouraged students to do their own practice while welcoming any questions.
This way, not only was learning fun, it also built understanding, the same approach I follow when tutoring.
Throughout my high school, I’ve tutored students in my community in math and have always enjoyed seeing the the excitement in their faces when a concept “clicked”. I graduated Summa Cum Laude (with highest honors) with a 4.0 gpa and with Washington State Honors (top 10% in WA state) from North Creek High School. I have studied through Linear Algebra and have gotten a 5 on the AP Calc AB and BC exams. I also received the highest score in my class on the Calc 4 final.
I am excited to tutor math from Algebra 1 through Calculus and my goal is to ensure that my students are thorough in their understanding of the concept and feels confident to apply it. I wish to help my students in any way that I can, so I will always welcome any suggestions or resources from my students, parents, or other teachers. I can also provide extra resources if needed.
Feel free to contact me with any questions or to schedule a lesson, I look forward to working together!
