I am Fedor S! I hold Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Computer Science. In college, I quickly realized that many subjects require a deep understanding of the material, rather than just practical application. Having studied at both Russian and American higher education institutions, I noticed that each system excels in areas where the other falls short. I decided to use this insight as a foundation for bridging the gap between understanding theoretical concepts and applying them in practice. During my lessons, I always ensure that my students gain a deep understanding of the material and can produce results from a comprehensive grasp of the topic. Additionally, I strongly recommend that each student start Geometry courses as soon as possible, as the practical skill of writing proofs fosters a mental approach that is invaluable in mastering math.

My teaching career began in my second year of college, where I tutored students from 5th to 11th grade. During this time, I taught everything from basic math and equation solving to trigonometric equations and mathematical analysis. In 2019, after moving to the U.S. to pursue my Master's degree, I continued my teaching career with the Russian School of Mathematics. There, I worked with middle and high school students, honing my techniques for managing a classroom and tailoring my approach to different students' learning styles.
