Hi! My name is Brenda and I work in the finance department for a large corporation mainly preparing and overseeing accounting journal entries and facilitating the month end close process. I have a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Accounting and a minor in Business Administration and also a Master's of Professional Accountancy degree, both from Western Washington University. While in attendance at Western, I was a member of Beta Alpha Psi, a high honors accounting club and also volunteered as a tutor for undergraduate accounting students.
I have a love and passion for accounting and I am willing to share it with anyone willing to learn. I am willing to work at whatever pace is needed to customize to the student. I realize that some subjects may come easier to some and slower to others, but I love the opportunity to work with students at all levels of understanding to help expand their knowledge base and improve their academic performance.
My Accounting Qualifications is that I have 7+ years experience in Corporate Accounting and Governmental Auditing, a Master's of Professional Accountancy degree and a Bachelor of Arts with Major in Accounting and minor in Business Administration.
