Able to explain things in different ways. My primary focus is students who are taking introductory accounting courses. I come from an IT background and had never taken an accounting class in my entire life. As a part-time MBA student, I am expected to run at a super-fast pace. I didn't want to prepare just for grades but wanted to learn the concepts and enjoy the subject. Michael could ask me the right questions to assess my knowledge and gaps and was able to explain the concepts in a very relatable IT consulting language. I was able to grasp the fundamental ideas and had several Ahaaa moments as to why accounting principles are made the way they are. Several concepts had become natural thought process instead of having to memorize them.
