Hi there, I've loved science since I was a little kid (think chemistry camp), and while I thought I wanted to teach, I realized it wasn't where I wanted to "work". I have a full-time job in a lab, but I still love to share all the scientific knowledge I've accumulated over years of schooling and experiences.

I have a bachelor's in Biology from University of Wisconsin-River Falls, almost finished my master's at Western on black bears (couldn't quite complete the thesis...), and recently received my teaching certificate in secondary education with an endorsement in Biology. I have a family, and am looking for some extra income, and to help students with their school work. I student taught at Squalicum High School, and really enjoyed the students and seeing them learn!
My focus in schooling was in Zoology and Ecology, but I've taken plenty of science classes and labs, and work in chemistry/environmental now. When I student taught, I covered everything from genetics to anatomy to ecology.
While I have a full-time job and a family, I am available in the evenings. I'd like to give tutoring a shot, and am willing to help out whomever I can!
