I have a deep passion for actively being a life-long learner, helping others, and finding joy in knowledge as a critical thinker. I am finishing my BA in English literature at Western Washington University for secondary education, with a minor in history for grades 6-8 and a social justice minor. I love helping students find creative ways of thinking to figure out study skills that work best for themselves. I am currently in a high school English classroom twice a week and will be volunteering in a middle school tutoring reading and writing. I believe that perfect practice makes perfect, meaning that I like to create practice problems for students that challenge and strengthen their skills.
I am willing to travel to where it is convenient for the student and parent but I do prefer libraries and quieter settings that are conducive to focus. I am so looking forward to hearing from you and assisting in your studies!
