Hello, I am Leah and I love teaching and helping others with my favorite subjects! I have a Bachelors degree in physics with a mathematics minor and have assisted in physics classroom and lab setting for over 3 years. I have helped students solve problems in algebra, precalc, calculus, introductory high school physics, AP physics and more. I have worked with students of all ages of high school students and early college students. I love the subjects I teach and I hope to share my passion with you!
I enjoy working with diverse sets of students and am working to become a certified teacher in math and physics. My tutoring focuses on supporting students the best way for them meeting where you are at in your learning journey. I have previously worked with students 1 on 1 and in small group settings with the occasional volunteer classroom lecture. I teach not only the problems, but how to understand the process of solving the problems. I understand asking for help and reaching out to tutors can be a stressful experience, so I strive to make it as comfortable and safe experience as possible. Don't hesitate to ask me for anything as I am willing to help in any way I can. Looking forward to meeting you!
