Bio

I recently retired from more than 30 years of teaching adult learners in German and English language and writing. I love helping students learn and want to continue doing what I love. My specialities are grammar, writing and conversation. I have two Master's degrees (in English and in German) and a PhD in German. I have spent my career teaching, both in the United States and Germany, at universities and online.

I have a PhD in German Language and Literature and taught at the university level for over 30 years. I'm happy to help you with German grammar and conversation.

I have an MA in English and worked for three years in a university writing center, helping students draft and revise essays. I also taught college level writing courses for both native and non-native speakers of English, and I tutored writing online. I am currently volunteering in an adult basic education reading and writing course.
