After only 1 session, I watched my daughter's face light up after her tutoring session with Dian. My daughter transitioned from self-doubt to confidence in her understanding of AP Statistics course work, earning As on all subsequent AP Statistics exams. While in a session with Dian, there was never a moment of boredom, just constant intellectual stimulation and the excitement of understanding difficult material on a higher level. My daughter indicated it was a joy for her to interact with a teacher who is "really" smart and engaging and always able to help. Dian was a great teacher able to take the concepts and make it clear for my daughter. She learned a few new ways to look at the problems which helped cement work. She offered if my daughter had further questions she could contact her. Very positive experience.

Excellent Tutor and Academic Coach
Dian is an excellent tutor and a true mentor. She has the right domain expertise, and has boundless energy to get solutions to the most complex problems. Dian balances short term academic priorities and longer term goals: her way of coaching and developing is naturally embedded in her tutoring strategies so the student does not feel lectured. It has been a fascinating experience watching our college student (sophomore) build confidence, and develop full accountability for his work: we saw him spend more time reflecting on his own study plans. She is accountable, reliable and non-judgmental. The tutoring and support Dian provides are equivalent to a private professor, but her humidly and sense of accountability makes her a true partner who is fully part of the student’s journey. Excellent experience, we hope to see our son partner with her again soon. Highly recommend.

My daughter was failing her AP stats class and needed some serious help fast. Dian met with her over the past 5 weeks and her grades went from D's and F's to A's and B's.
