MY EDUCATIONAL FOUNDATION AND PROFESSIONAL EXPERTISE
I hold a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from University of North Texas, a Master of Business Administration in Finance from Pepperdine University, and a Masters Certificate in Systems Design & Project Leadership from Cornell University. This academic foundation has been the backbone of my professional career as a Finance Leader at global companies such as Amazon, Microsoft, Starbucks, Boeing,.... My professional background allows me to bring real-world context to academic theories, helping students understand not just the "how", but the "why."
MY TUTORING EXPERIENCE AND STUDENT DEMOGRAPHICS
My formal teaching experience began at University of North Texas, where I served as a Teaching Assistant & Tutor for Algebra and Supply Chain Management. I worked with university students in both classroom settings and 1-on-1 sessions, tailoring my approach to meet diverse learning styles. Beyond the university level, I have extensive experience tutoring elementary, middle, & high school students across various subjects. My method: I prioritize patience, clear communication, and the development of critical thinking skills. Over more than a decade of mentoring, I have learned how to adapt my language and examples to suit the specific age group and academic level of each student.
MY COLLABORATIVE TUTORING METHODOLOGY
I utilize a collaborative approach designed to build long-term independence. I often begin by identifying a student's specific pain points and then use practical examples to reinforce learning. Having managed billion-dollar budgets and complex financial models for global companies, I bring a high level of precision and organization to my teaching. My goal is to create a supportive environment where students feel empowered to ask questions and develop the analytical tools they need for success.
