I am a highly experienced software engineer with 10 years of experience developing software and 9 years of teaching. Over the last 10 years my dev work has included building software for multiple fortune 500 companies including Comcast and American Family Insurance, and Roku. My teaching experience has included teaching at and creating curriculums for multiple bootcamps including Skillspire and Ahmed Tech Academy (a coding school that I run). I am a highly experienced software engineer with 10 years of experience developing software and 9 years of teaching. Over the last 10 years my dev work has included building software for multiple fortune 500 companies including Comcast and American Family Insurance, and Roku. My teaching experience has included teaching at and creating curriculums for multiple bootcamps including Skillspire and Ahmed Tech Academy (a coding school that I run). A large portion of my work includes 1 on 1 tutoring for CS students and adults interested in learning various aspects of software engineering including Web Development, back-end engineering, cloud architecture, and game development.

Although I have a degree from the University of Washington, Seattle, it's not in Computer Science. Therefore, being mostly a self-taught developer, I am highly passionate about spreading knowledge and helping others gain an extremely marketable skill that has lead to significant success in my own life.

With seven years of experience in tech, my last four years have been very focused on Java and Java-based frameworks. Here are some ways I have used Java recently: - While teaching at Skillspire, I created the curriculum for their Java and AWS course and then taught that course for years. - While working at American Family Insurance, I used Java to create and enhance their API. - While working at a startup called Lift Bro, I used Java to design and create an integration that talks to a database, built an integration to AWS Secrets Manager, and designed and created an API for our front end. - While working at Comcast, I used Java to make changes to how our application ingests media content and publishes it to Comcast's X1 TV box.

I specialize in both front-end and back-end programming in JavaScript. I have used it to add functionality to websites as well as worked on a few side projects. My experience involves teaching JavaScript for over 2 years and having created the front-end and back-end of multiple web apps. Along with JavaScript I am proficient in many of its frameworks including Express, Angular, Lodash, and React. I am also highly competent in advanced algorithms and data structures such as binary trees and linked lists.

He instructs at a local code teaching institution. It's a reputable one. His ability to teach is great. Encouraging to work with. I had a specific question in coding that needed insight and he was able to help. For others, I imagine they will find him a great resource.

Knowledgeable and very helpful

Several things on coding with HTML and JavaScript. Not only did he help me understand but he was excellent at making it fun and enjoyable I would definitely recommend him for anyone that enjoys learning in person. He also likes marvel and Star Wars if it were just me I would consider him great for absolutely anything involving coding
