I'm Eric! I graduated from the University of Washington with a Bachelor's degree in Molecular Bioscience, which strengthened my background in biology, chemistry, biochemsitry, and physics. I also completed a degree in Psychology which allowed me to develop a strong understanding of cognition and effective studying habits. Furthermore, I have thoroughly studied and taken the MCAT exam where I received above average marks. This combination allows me to not only understand complex material but also teach it in a way that aligns with how students learn best.
I have experience supporting college students in improving their exam performance by teaching effective study techniques such as active recall, spaced repetition, and concept breakdown. In addition, I have tutored middle and high school students in algebra, calculus, and biology in both one-on-one and small group settings. My approach is student-centered and adaptable, focusing on simplifying complex topics, reinforcing understanding through practice, and helping students build confidence and independent problem-solving skills.
Across all of my tutoring experiences, I have worked with students ranging from middle school to college level and prioritize creating a supportive, engaging learning environment.
