Excellent tutoring experience
Amanda tutored my 14 year old daughter in Algebra I the summer before she entered high school. Amanda is an excellent tutor who was prompt, had great communications skills, and extensive knowledge. My daughter quickly felt at ease with Amanda and said, "She is the best tutor I have ever seen! I love her!" Most importantly, my daughter feels confident in her algebra skills as she enters high school for the first time. Even though she is the only tutor my daughter has had, she is undoubtedly the best! Amanda is very patient as well as being very clear in her teaching. She is both educational in the way you need but she also is very fun and I often hear the two girls laughing at silly math or just Amanda's humorous wit. Furthermore, Amanda is very knowledgeable about all things math and can always explain why something works the way it works which adds depth to the understanding she is bringing to the student. My daughter's grade was raised from a C- at the end of third quarter to a B at the end of fourth quarter. After two sessions she retook a test she had failed and on her second attempt she only missed one problem. Amanda truly is a miracle worker and to quote her whenever my daughter does something right, she is "Super awesome"! We love Amanda and highly recommend her to anyone and everyone!
