Excellent tutor for elementary science

Sarah is very well-prepared, professional, and patient with our 1st grader. She packs a lot of content into their tutoring time while keeping things fun. She brings great materials with follow-up activities that we can use to reinforce concepts after the session. Highly recommend.

Sarah Unlocks the Harp for Me

Sarah is a knowledgeable, patient, and inspiring harp tutor who I look forward to lessons with. I'm a beginner with very little music background, so Sarah taught me all the basics. Our lessons have included holding the harp, tuning it with a phone app, position, and plucking technique. Thanks to Sarah's instruction I now can play various songs on the harp using proper fingering position on the right hand and slowly adding chords on the left! Sarah also taught me some about getting bright and warm sounds from the harp and playing loud and soft to create a climax. I know Sarah is more than capable of guiding me from a beginner to an intermediate harpist and I look forward to growing in my abilities under Sarah's guidance.

Awesome Tutor

Sarah's tutoring has been helpful to me professionally. Her lessons on American government have deepened my understanding of civics. She regularly has me practice public speaking by analyzing current events and issues; this has helped me to engage with diverse viewpoints.

Fantastic Tutor

Sarah is super knowledgeable and patient. My understanding of American history and culture has been greatly improved through the lessons with her. She is always ready to provide a variety of helpful resources on public speaking and culture during the lessons. Moreover, she always sends a summary of resources after each lesson, which I find especially helpful for review afterwards.

Amazing Results!

Sarah is an incredible tutor. My son was having difficulty blending consonants and Sarah helped so much. We saw drastic improvement over a short time period. I was impressed by her knowledge and her ability to cater to a young child. For example, other tutors scheduled hour-long lessons but Sarah said that kids won't pay attention that long. She was right. She is always prepared, she gives clear instructions, she engages the learner, and she provides information that helps me understand what I can do. I can't recommend her enough! My son can now write words with two blends all on his own.
