I have taught 7th and 8th grade life science, 9-10th grade Geology, Biology, & Astronomy, 11-12th grade Chemistry, Anatomy & Physiology, and AP Chemistry. These have all been in a traditional public school classroom setting.

I am very skilled at breaking down big concepts into manageable steps so students can get to an answer, but also get to a place where they can explain why their answer is correct. I am very creative with using analogies, pictures, and diagrams, and never give up if a student is struggling to understand. I always find a way that will make it "click."

I am a certified 7-12 science teacher who has been teaching middle and high school science courses for 11 years. I have a Bachelor's degree in Secondary Education with a concentration in Biology, and I have a Master's degree in Natural Science Education.

Knowledgeable, Kind and Interactive Chemistry Tutor

Samantha is tutoring my 9th grade daughter in Chemistry. She is a caring and interactive tutor who quickly connected with my daughter. Samantha is very organized and prepares before the lessons allowing her to cover the material in an efficient manor all the while making sure that my daughter fully understands what is being covered.
