Hi, I’m Ben — I’ve been a nurse for 6 years, with experience in the Neurosurgical ICU, Cardiothoracic ICU, and Surgical ICU, as well as several years working as a float nurse at a Level 1 trauma center. For the past two years, I’ve also taught nursing clinicals and skills lab at the University of Vermont.
I graduated from the University of Southern Maine School of Nursing in 2020 with a 4.0 GPA. During nursing school, I worked as a science and nursing tutor, helping over 100 students streamline their learning, build confidence, and develop a more organized approach to studying.
A lot of students feel overwhelmed studying for the NCLEX. Usually, it's not because they don't know enough content; it's because they struggle with prioritization, clinical judgment, and understanding how the test wants you to think.I try to keep sessions practical and focused on helping students understand how to actually think through NCLEX questions.
Rather than memorizing facts, I help students develop a framework for breaking down questions systematically. We will focus on topics like prioritization, delegation, safety, pharmacology, and recognizing unstable patients.
During sessions, we will work through NCLEX style questions together, identify patterns in missed questions, and build strategies that improve both confidence and performance. My goal is not only to help students pass the NCLEX, but also to help them think more confidently as future nurses.
Whether you’re preparing for your first attempt or retaking the NCLEX, my goal is to help you feel less overwhelmed and more confident going into the exam.
