My teaching experience includes a full academic year as a cadet teacher at Palisades World Language School, where I supported a 1st-grade Spanish immersion classroom. I helped guide students through early language development, assisted the lead teacher in lesson planning, and worked one-on-one with students needing extra support. This experience strengthened my ability to explain concepts clearly and connect with students across different learning styles and backgrounds. I’ve also volunteered through the Young Men’s Service League for three years, where I supported academic and service-based programs in the community.
In addition to Spanish fluency, I bring technical tutoring experience from my studies and self-taught projects in computer science. I’ve developed multiple projects using Python, Java, C#, and Unity — including a full 2D video game and a web app that uses OpenAI’s API to create assistive learning tools. My approach to tutoring is centered on patience, encouragement, and helping students understand both the “how” and the “why” behind what they’re learning — building confidence alongside competence.
