I am an enthusiastic student, whether it be chemistry, blacksmithing techniques, or Taekwondo, and I strive to find or encourage that same enthusiasm for learning in others.
I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry and Philosophy from Middlebury College in May of 2025. I graduated suma cum laude with departmental honors in philosophy. During my time at Middlebury I worked as a peer tutor for introductory and organic chemistry courses and a teaching assistant for a general chemistry lecture. The positions centered around helping students grow their chemical intuition, brush up on related math skills, and reinforce their scientific knowledge—all of which I enjoyed a lot.
Following graduation, I spent the fall semester of 2025 teaching a physics lab as an adjunct instructor at Penn State Behrend. The majority of my tutoring has been with students of college-age. Some were genuinely interested in the topics they were studying others simply needed to pass the class. Students of both types continued to book sessions with me or come to my TA office hours.
Outside of academic pursuits, I have practiced taekwondo for over a decade, and as a first-degree black belt, have instructed other students. I gained experience both coaching adults and teaching kids as young as 8 up to their teens.
