Does your child struggle with reading, writing, or understanding what they read? I provide patient, structured reading support to help students build confidence and strong foundational literacy skills.

I work with children ages 4–12, including students with learning differences and special needs. My focus is on helping students become more confident and capable readers through clear, step-by-step instruction tailored to their individual needs.

I specialize in phonics, decoding, fluency, and reading comprehension. I break skills into manageable parts so students can build understanding without feeling overwhelmed. My goal is to make reading more accessible, less stressful, and more successful over time.

I have experience supporting learners with dyslexia, autism, and other reading challenges, and I adapt my approach to each child’s learning style, attention span, and developmental level.

I earned an Early Childhood Education certificate from the Community College of Vermont and continue professional development through coursework with Coursera and ongoing studies at CCV. I am also working toward TESOL certification to support English language learners.

I believe strong reading skills are the foundation for success in all subjects. My goal is to help students build both skills and confidence so they can become more independent learners.

My goal is to help your child grow into a more confident and successful reader.

I have been a history buff since I was 9 years old and I read the American Girls Series. I always wanted to be a History Teacher. As a substitute teacher I got to teach in every subject including US History.

I am certified in Early Childhood Education and have experience working with students from preschool through middle school. During my internship, I worked at a library where I supported a homeschool group and gained valuable insight into homeschooling. I developed an understanding of both student and parent expectations, as well as the flexibility and structure that homeschooling requires. This experience helped me learn how to adapt instruction to meet individual learning styles and goals. I am well prepared to support homeschool students with personalized, effective tutoring
