I have taught for over ten years. I would love to work one-on-one with students that really need my help. This way I can give them all the time and attention they need. I have a bachelors degree in Math education and love making math fun and easy to understand. I meet at Chinn Library in Woodbridge, VA and try to be flexible.

Improvement and finallly sucess on the Virginia SOL
My son had to retake geometry and received a 467 on the Virginia SOL. He has a much better understanding of Geometry and his confidence level has improved. My 10th grader was pulled from Advanced Geometry and placed in Geometry as a result of poor grades. He faltered in regular geometry until we hired Elizabeth. Unfortunately we did not have her help earlier we know our son would have understood the subject matter. He has shown some improvement since we engaged her services.

Functions/trig is mind bending, but Elizabeth has helped to clear up the confusion and break it down into manageable concepts that can be applied to solve difficult problems. My grade has gone up dramatically in just 4 tutoring sessions!
