I recently earned my Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and will be starting my first year as a classroom teacher this August. I have worked with students in whole-group lessons, small groups, and one-on-one settings, supporting them as they learn new skills and build confidence.

I recently earned my Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and will be starting my first year as a classroom teacher this August. For the past two years, I have worked in an elementary school classroom alongside a mentor teacher, where I gained experience helping students with reading, writing, math, and other subjects. I have worked with students in whole-group lessons, small groups, and one-on-one settings, supporting them as they learn new skills and build confidence.
I enjoy helping students learn in a way that works best for them. Every child learns differently, so I try to be patient, encouraging, and flexible in my approach. My goal is to make learning less stressful and help students feel successful. I like breaking down difficult concepts into smaller steps and giving students plenty of opportunities to practice and ask questions.
I am also fluent in both English and Spanish, including speaking, reading, and writing. I completed Spanish courses through Spanish IV in high school and continue to use Spanish regularly. Being bilingual allows me to support both English and Spanish-speaking students and families. I am excited to begin my teaching career and look forward to helping students grow academically and gain confidence in themselves.
