My name is Kirstin. I am currently a stay-at-home mom to my four year old son. I graduated from Franciscan University of Steubenville with a double degree in English and Theatre. Once I graduated I began to teach in private schools. I worked the longest, 5 years, teaching middle school language arts, but I have experience with kids as young as preschool aged. I love to help kids achieve their dreams, not just academically. I believe teaching is more than just giving students information. It is about teaching them life long lessons and helping them become a better person in the process.

I love finding fun, creative ways to make books come alive, including fun projects, interactive notebooks, and sometimes videos. I am also a little old fashion and think pen and paper is sometimes the way to go about things. I love teaching especially when I see a student find their niche and really get excited by learning.

I hope to make learning enjoyable, easy, and engaging, and I want every student to believe they can reach their potential. I look forward to working with not only the students but their parents as well, so every child can succeed.
