I tutor elementary, middle school, high school, and college/adult learners in math, writing, public speaking, study skills, and computer fundamentals. I especially enjoy helping K–12 students build strong foundations, improve grades, and gain confidence, while also supporting advanced learners with more complex material. My goal is to make learning clear, engaging, and practical across subjects—not just STEM.
I tailor each lesson to the student’s learning style, whether they need step-by-step guidance, structured practice, or accountability to stay on track. As a current substitute teacher in Virginia and experienced tutor, I understand classroom expectations and how to help students succeed at every level.
I hold a B.S. in Computer Science with a minor in Psychology from the University of Maryland, which helps me connect with students of all ages. I’m also an active member of Toastmasters, where I’ve served as Club President and mentor others in communication and leadership—skills I pass on to my students.
My teaching experience includes working with elementary through high school students, as well as college learners and adults, supporting math, writing, and academic improvement. I bring patience, structure, and a sense of humor to every session to keep students engaged and progressing.
In addition to teaching, I have a professional background as a software developer, which strengthens my analytical and problem-solving instruction.
I look forward to helping you or your student build confidence, improve performance, and achieve academic goals.
