I am a retired teacher who taught 6th grade English and 4th and 5th grades -all subjects. I have 32 years experience working with elementary and middle school students. I especially like working with students one-on-one. I feel I would be an excellent tutor, especially in grammar, reading, and writing. I love to read and instilling in my students a love for reading. I use various methods of teaching.
My students were well prepared to take the SOL tests and I had very few failures.
