I hold a graduate degree - MFA from The University of Texas at Austin, where I received the Presidential Preemptive Recruitment Fellowship. I also hold a BFA from The Savannah College of Art and Design.

I approach my work with a deep commitment to finding personal or professional connections to every subject I engage with. I enjoy working with students that need help with executive functioning, helping those students succeed is a true joy. I myself have ADHD and have spent my lifetime developing success strategies for school and life. I have used these strategies myself and also with my students at the university that I teach at.

In addition to tutoring and teaching, I have won multiple awards for my lighting designs, including the BroadwayWorld Award, the Oscar Wilde Award, and the Suzi Bass Award. I also practice photography professionally and have work that is contracted by shutterstock, inc.

I specialize in working with students with ADHD and Executive Functioning challenges. Organization, distraction reduction and planning are all areas that I focus on when working with a student with ADHD. I have ADHD myself and was diagnosed 27 years ago, I bring a lifetime of personal and professional experience to each student I work with. I received a large scholarship to college as an undergraduate and received the Presidential preemptive recruitment fellowship to graduate school at the University of Texas. I'm now an associate professor at a university in the DC metro area and enjoy helping students with their own unique challenges as they relate to school and ADHD.
