I would very much like to help anyone who is interested in performing their very best in my trained areas of law, business and/or engineering.
Many years ago, I graduated from MIT with a degree in Electrical Engineering. For fifteen years I worked in the field of digital image processing and I participated in the development of scanners, digital printers, multifunction devices and network services for a major corporation. Subsequently, I spent nine years in senior management roles at this same corporation, followed by three years as the President, CEO, Director and Officer of a much smaller, private equity funded corporation specializing in transaction printing.
In 2004, I took time off from my business career to follow a personal agenda which included 24/7 care of my terminally ill husband. It was during this period of time that I became very interested in the needs of those with disabilities and illnesses. As a consequence, I went to law school to study those subjects that are relevant to a temporarily or permanently disabled or ill person as well as to study Intellectual Property to aid in the invention of relevant product solutions for the disabled or ill person.
I am currently working as a contract attorney in Richmond while I embark upon my next journey of setting up a solo law practice in Williamsburg. I am admitted to practice law in the State of New York, the Commonwealth of Virginia and before the United States Patent and Trademark Office as a licensed Patent Attorney.
I also run/race walk (although my times are not nearly as impressive as my academic/work career results-- but I always finish, I never quit!). You can be certain that I will work with you to achieve successful, as well as your very best, results. I would very much like to help anyone who is interested in performing their very best in my trained areas of law, business and/or engineering.

Presently Barbara is teaching me how to master the Logical Reasoning portion of the LSAT. She gives homework that that lets me apply what I have learned and practiced. She cares about my weaknesses just as she does my strengths. She does not let little things slip - she is thorough. Barbara is exactly what one would expect from a competent attorney who has chosen to lead future J.D. students to success.
I feel that I am going to do great on the LSAT! Thanks Barbara.
Barbara is a very energetic and enthusiastic tutor. She is extremely organized, knowledgeable and demanding that you attain your LSAT score you need to get into the law school you have your eyes set on. I have previously taken the LSAT and used an online resource (Powerscore On-Line Class, and Powerscore Books) that are highly rated and I am looking forward to continuing to improve my LSAT test taking abilities. She is very structured in the way you should attack the LSAT and that is good! Proven successful tutor.
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
