Bio

I am excited for the recent move here to the Richmond area. I have been a tutor privately for the last 12 years in Northern Virginia and Blacksburg in all subjects, as well as SAT and ACT test prep. I am a teaching veteran of 24 years and am looking forward to working with the students in Caroline Co Public Schools as an English Teacher/Reading Specialist/Literacy Coach by day, and private tutor for students after school and in the evenings. I am patient and kind, and I specialize in children...

My 16-year-old daughter never seemed like she was too thrilled with her last tutor as they just didn’t fit very well. But my daughter is thrilled with Tara. They hit it off really well and my daughter is very excited about working with her for ACT prep.
