I am a recently retired public school administrator and teacher with over 31 years experience working with high school students. I also have an extensive background working with college students and adults. With an undergraduate degree in history and social science, I possess an ability to view historical and current events through a social sciences lens. Drawing upon the interdependent relationships between economic, geographic, political, religious, cultural, and historic elements, I teach students how to more easily relate to the circumstances that impact social science outcomes.
Additionally, I have an excellent sense of humor and I also enjoy working with young people. I am not afraid to enjoy my work, either; and, I find it easy to communicate with most students on their level. I have a BA degree in History & Social Sciences from Emory & Henry College, and M.Ed in School Administration, and an Ed.D in Educational Leadership.
