I continued to excell in reading and writing throughout elementary and high school. During undergraduate school I was copy-editor of the college newspaper and was told I was perfect for the job. I am very good at spotting typos and spelling and grammatical errors. I worked as a GED instructor for five years, where I taught basic skills to adults who were preparing for their general education diploma test. I homeschooled my daughter until she was in fifth grade. I worked with adults with developmental disabilities in a state funded program in California where I provided healthy, educational activities for seven years.
