I hold a Juris Doctor from Campbell University School of Law, a Master of Arts in Law from Regent University School of Law, and a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Old Dominion University. During law school, I developed extensive experience in legal research, writing, analysis, and advocacy. As a judicial extern with the North Carolina Court of Appeals, I reviewed appellate briefs and records, researched complex legal issues, and drafted legal memoranda. I also gained hands-on experience through law school clinics, where I interviewed and counseled clients, analyzed legal issues, developed case strategies, and drafted pleadings, motions, settlement agreements, and other legal documents.

Teaching and mentoring have also been an important part of my professional background. Before earning my J.D., I founded and managed a real estate brokerage where I trained newly licensed real estate agents. I taught adults how to understand contracts, regulatory requirements, transaction procedures, client communication, and the practical application of what they had learned in licensing courses. My approach is patient, practical, and interactive. Rather than simply giving students an answer, I break difficult concepts into manageable pieces, work through examples with them, and then have them apply the concept independently so I can identify where additional instruction is needed.

I am available to tutor law students in legal research and writing, IRAC/CRAC, case briefing, issue spotting, legal analysis, memo writing, exam preparation, and selected law school subjects. I can also assist undergraduate students with criminal justice, academic research, analytical writing, and related subjects. My goal is to help students understand not only what the answer is, but how to reason their way to it and communicate that reasoning clearly and confidently.
