I earned a Bachelor of Science in Real Estate with a minor in Property Management from Virginia Tech’s Pamplin College of Business in May 2023. My academic background gave me a strong foundation in business, real estate, property management, market analysis, finance, and analytical problem-solving. I also hold a CompTIA A+ certification, Microsoft Office Specialist 2016 Master Certification, and NRF Certified Sales certification. Through my coursework and professional experience, I developed strong skills in mathematics, data analysis, technology, communication, and Microsoft Office applications.
My professional experience has strengthened my ability to communicate information clearly and work directly with people to identify needs and develop solutions. As a Leasing Consultant, I regularly handled 30–50 customer calls per day, conducted discovery conversations, explained information, and guided prospects through the leasing process. During my time at Virginia Tech, I completed an in-depth real estate market analysis project involving demographic and economic research, performance indicators, and financial feasibility. I also worked as a real estate and property management intern, where I managed customer inquiries, analyzed data, maintained records, and collaborated with multiple teams. Additionally, my experience as a table games dealer required mathematical precision, logical reasoning, and the ability to clearly explain rules and strategies to customers.
While my experience has primarily been in professional and higher-education settings rather than a traditional classroom, these roles have required me to explain concepts, adapt my communication to different individuals, and provide patient one-on-one guidance. I would bring that same approach to tutoring by breaking complex topics into understandable steps, connecting concepts to practical examples, and adjusting my explanations based on each student's needs and level of understanding.
