I have been a digital illustrator for over 6 years, creating original artwork for large publishing houses like Harper Collins, Penguin Random House and companies like The Atlantic Magazine and Target. I combine my fine art training with digital programs like Procreate to create visually compelling illustrations for children and adults. My background in painting has given me a thorough understanding of composition, color theory, lighting, anatomy, and visual storytelling. I have experience as an Adjunct Art professor teaching Drawing and Painting to students, from beginners to advanced. I have experience developing polished portfolio with students no matter their range of styles and methods, from editorial and commercial illustration to character design and narrative imagery.

I am a published author of picture books and middle grade novels. I have worked with Editors of major publishing houses like Harper Collins, Chronicle and Penguin Randomhouse. I have extensive knowledge of the writing process, and how to help you build your writing skills. From the brainstorming phase to the publishing phase I have experience guiding you to a finished manuscript.
