Hi, I'm Benjamin! I help students master Chemistry and Math without the stress. I have over 8 years of experience tutoring, specializing in High School and College Chemistry, as well as Algebra and Engineering coursework. As a U.S. Naval Academy graduate (B.S. Mechanical Engineering), an active duty Submarine Officer, and a Master's degree holder from the Naval Postgraduate School, I bring a high level of technical expertise to every session.

However, my true focus is on clarity and confidence. I know firsthand how overwhelming these courses can feel. My approach is grounded in the discipline I learned in the Navy: breaking down even the most difficult problems into clear, manageable steps until the concept clicks.

I structure each lesson to remove anxiety and maximize learning by using a professional digital whiteboard (OneNote) to visualize problems clearly. I also encourage students to send homework, practice tests, or topics in advance so I can review them thoroughly before we meet. This allows us to dive straight into problem-solving rather than wasting time figuring out the material.

To ensure you can focus on understanding rather than frantic note-taking, I provide a full PDF export of our notes and a video recording after every session. This gives you a complete reference to study from later.

For current USNA Midshipmen, I understand the rigor of the Academy’s academic demands and offer a discounted rate; supporting future officers is important to me, so please message me directly to discuss your needs.

If you are looking for a structured, calm, and highly effective approach to tutoring, feel free to reach out. I look forward to helping you reach your goals!
