I tutored human biology for a year in college, where I worked 1-1 with student athletes on homework review and test prep for cell/molecular/developmental biology and anatomy/physiology. In high school, I volunteered for Humanitas4All, where I taught elementary school math and writing. I like to teach visually, creating diagrams for science subjects like biology and chemistry and writing out math step-by-step to make sure the student can truly understand the process, rather than memorize. I also believe that being able to visualize something, especially in math, makes concepts much easier to grasp. I love seeing students light up when they finally understand something. The beautiful thing about teaching is that I am also learning alongside the student!
I specialize in helping students with DAT science, math, and PAT sections, as well as SAT and ACT math. I’m also here to provide advice for applying to dental school in general and am happy to work with you on essays. Look forward to meeting you!
