Hi, I'm Arjun! I am a recent graduate from James Madison University, where I majored in Biology/Neuroscience with a minor in Pre-Medicine. I specialize in Math (Elementary, Prealgebra, Algebra 1 & 2, Statistics), Science (Biology, Chemistry, Neuroscience, Psychology), and Basketball, Lacrosse and Swimming.

I achieved a 1450 SAT score and a 516 MCAT score, demonstrating strong academic performance and a deep understanding of the material I teach. Additionally, I have played sports my whole life. I was a 1st-Team All-State and State Champion in lacrosse, competed in basketball at both the high school and AAU levels, and swam competitively for eight years. I also have coaching experience in all three, working with students of various ages.

I aim to bring a diverse range of teaching and mentorship experience to my students. I have completed three semesters as a teaching assistant as well as over 30 hours tutoring high school and college students. In addition, I have over 100 hours of experience working with students of various ages (from elementary school to college) through roles as a swim instructor, PE teacher’s assistant, and basketball and lacrosse coach. These experiences have taught me how to adapt my teaching style to fit each student.

My tutoring approach is highly personalized. While the focus is on improving grades and test scores, the core of my approach is helping you build a strong foundation, critical thinking skills, and efficient study habits.
