Hi! My name is Sabrina, and I graduated from UVA at the top 10% of my class with a 3.95 GPA as a member of Phi Beta Kappa (PBK). I am currently a fourth-year medical student at George Washington University School of Medicine and a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) Medical Honor Society, recently informed by my Deans that I am among the top students in my graduating medical class. I am so grateful to have such a great education journey so far.

One of the most significant parts of my education has been discovering the learning strategies that work best for me. Throughout college and medical school, I have experimented with different study strategies, reflected on what works, and remained curious and adaptable. I genuinely enjoy helping others find the strategies that lead to their own moments of clarity. I also love writing, so helping students brainstorm, organize, and strengthen their essays is especially rewarding.
At UVA, I worked as a Teaching Assistant and Pre-Health Advisor. These experiences taught me to listen carefully, recognize that every student learns differently, and adapt my approach accordingly.
I tutor Science, Math, and English and enjoy working with students of all ages. I aim to create a supportive environment that feels more like working with a friend while still providing thoughtful mentorship. My goal is not simply to improve grades and test scores, but to build confidence, strengthen critical thinking, and help students take pride in their progress.
For pre-med students, I offer personal statement editing, proofreading, secondary essay editing and outlining, activity descriptions, interview preparation, and general admissions guidance.
For med students, I offer guidance on USMLE Step 1 prep, clerkship strategies, and study planning. I received clinical Honors in Surgery, Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Pediatrics, and other clinical rotations.
Outside of tutoring, I enjoy playing tennis, ping pong, and chess, and being an auntie to my sister's dachshund! :)
