Hello! I’m Shavonne. I graduated with two career study certifications in Entrepreneurship and Medical Coding and Reimbursement specialist. I graduated with cum laude status. I have been an unpaid tutor of students and peers since 2019. I have experience tutoring through volunteering roles with my community and church.

I also partake in part time substituting for my district. I have worked along side children for many years through volunteer work and training with my local community services board for special needs individuals . Through my years of unpaid tutoring, substituting and volunteer work I believe that I will help any student succeed. I have watched many children succeed through tutoring and stepping in as an advisor along side for student development. My style of teaching is simply meeting you where you are, mentally and educationally. What we must realize as educators, tutors, even parents is that every child has a different perspective of learning and what helps them focus and succeed the best way in their own way.

With your time and patience, anything can be accomplished. My skills from learning multiple subjects have caused me to be successful in the learning environment such as geometry, prerequisite classes like religion and Bible history, chemistry, elementary school mathematics and science, essay writing and English.
