I specialize in Shakespeare and classical drama. Through my graduate studies, I am very familiar with all of Shakespeare's plays as well as a lot of other classical dramatists. I know that for many, the language can be difficult, which is why I have spent a lot of time studying how to make classical language easier for students to wrap their heads around. It may not seem like it, but I promise, it's fun once you get past the language barrier!
In addition to school, I have been booking professional acting jobs for the past three years. Although I love acting, my main passion is directing and actor coaching. It can be difficult to work on an audition monologue without having a director to coach you, so I am happy to help with that! Over the past six years, I have taught students of all ages, from elementary school to college.
