Bonjour! I'm a passionate and experienced French teacher with 13 years of teaching in both classroom settings and one-on-one tutoring. I’m new to Wyzant, but not new to teaching—I’ve worked with students from elementary to high school and have helped many of them succeed in French at all levels.
I earned my Bachelor’s degree in French Language and Culture from Tirana University in Albania, and I’ve taught French to beginners, intermediate, and advanced learners. I’ve also taught in an international school setting, working with students from diverse cultural and academic backgrounds. Over the years, I’ve helped many students excel in their French studies, with strong results in both AP and IGCSE French exams.
My teaching style blends structure and creativity. I use textbooks to ensure we cover all four key skills—speaking, reading, listening, and writing—while adapting each lesson to meet students' goals, needs, and interests. I incorporate songs, podcasts, documentaries, games, worksheets, poems, and literary classics to bring the French language and culture to life.
