I'm a Scientific Communications Manager for a biotech and have two degrees in science. I have a passion for engaging students to instill profound love for learning rather than just memorizing the material without any understanding. I have dedicated my time at the Children's Museum for more than six years, interacting directly with children of all ages to teach them fascinating scientific concepts. I work on projects for the lab, and participate in citizen science and community programs events that occur throughout the region at local schools and other weekend community events.
My most rewarding experience has been helping students in Science, English, and Math so they are better prepared for finals. I also write medical articles and can assist with writing techniques for science labs or other projects.
I use textbooks and lesson plans for students to provide comprehensive knowledge of the material, offering time to research the material on their own and take quizzes to ensure true understanding of the underlying concepts. I welcome any suggestions or resources that students or parents can provide to benefit the student’s learning goals.
