As a PhD candidate in Psychology, I bring advanced academic training and a passion for helping students achieve measurable academic success. My background includes extensive work in psychology, research methods, academic writing, statistics, and study skills development. I specialize in helping students move from confusion to confidence by simplifying complex topics and teaching practical strategies they can apply independently.
I primarily work with elementary/middle/high school and college students in building strong academic foundations. I tailor each session to the student’s individual learning style and academic goals. With younger students, I focus on strengthening foundational skills, organization, and confidence. With high school and college students, I provide support in psychology coursework, research papers, APA formatting, essay development, and effective study techniques. I also help students improve critical thinking skills and develop strong academic habits that support long-term success.
My teaching philosophy is centered on patience, encouragement, and clarity. I believe students learn best when they feel supported and understood, so I create a comfortable environment where questions are encouraged. Whether a student needs ongoing academic support or help preparing for an important assignment or exam, my goal is always to help them feel capable, prepared, and successful. I welcome students who are committed to improving their performance and am happy to support both short-term academic needs and long-term learning goals.
