I have been in education for 28 years. I earned my undergraduate in elementary education and my Masters in Special Education with a focus on Learning disabilities. During my time in education, I have taught Algebra for 12 years and Geometry for 10 years. I have tutored for over 10 years. Math can be an intimidating subject for some students. It is important to help them make connections with skills they already possess when introducing a new skill. I believe that my experience teaching students with learning difficulties helped me become better at finding ways to teach math concepts to all of my students.
During my time in education I have also been a football coach and was a head football coach for 12 years.
