In 2015, I graduated magna cum laude from the University of Maryland University College. My major was English with a journalism minor. Currently, I am enrolled in Southern New Hampshire University's grad school. I am working on my Master's in English and creative writing. While I was an undergrad, I performed peer reviews for approximately 15 students per course. I was also invited to become a peer tutor because of my GPA, membership in the school's English club, and membership in two honor societies.
I recently helped review my old English professor's book prior to publication. I enjoy helping other writers reach their goals; teaching students to use critical thinking and literary criticism approaches to understand and write about literature and art; create captivating and original bodies of work, including fiction or nonfiction, from flash story length to a novel, and to bring life to poetry that avoids the sentimentality death trap (evoking emotional responses is good, but drowning your reader in gushing sentiment is not).
I would love to help you build your English writing skills, as well as expand your understanding of literature and art.
