Hello, I am Stan Jones and I am passionate about education and student success. With an extensive background in teaching at the Secondary, Community College, and 4-year Liberal Arts College levels, I believe that every student is capable of learning and achieving their goals. Education is the passport for a better future for my students and their families.

As a veteran educator, I am committed to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment where all students can thrive. I believe in the power of education to transform lives and am dedicated to helping my students reach their full potential.

My Experience includes being a current Instructor of Chemistry, Ferrum College, a retired Associate Professor of Chemistry, Wytheville Community College (January 2020) with over 38 years of experience teaching Chemistry Face-to-Face and online classes using Blackboard, Canvas, and Brightspace. At the postsecondary level I have taught Introductory Chemistry, General Chemistry I &2, Introductory Biochemistry, and Physical Science for Middle and Elementary level Educators. As a High School Teacher I taught General Chemistry, General Biology, Pre-IB Chemistry, IB Chemistry and IB Biology. I am also a retired Chief Hospital Corpsman from the US Navy. I served on Active and Reserve Duty for 25 years in a variety of locations.

I am looking to use my experience and Passion as a Chemistry Instructor to make a significant impact on students from all over the world. I am dedicated to providing high-quality tutoring and mentoring. Helping you achieve your academic goals and succeed in your future dreams.
